Dairy-Free Chocolate Bread

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups oat flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


Wet Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 5 tbsp coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 oz The Dairy Free Co. Dollop Lama

    We’re *all* about giving into your sweet tooth’s temptation. Sure - it’s grueling to say 'thank u, next' to cake and cookies because, um, we want cake and cookies. So, since we can’t stop nom-noming, we’re giving away this guilt-free, dairy-free chocolate bread recipe for you to indulge in with us. 🍫 Ya, we said chocolate bread. 😍

    It’s simple yet delightfully rich and pairs perfectly with your morning cup o’ joe.

    💧 Start by combining water, almond milk, sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and The Dairy Free Co. Dollop Lama™ in a small pot. Melt everything over low heat until the ingredients are totally combined.

    Sift dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Remove wet ingredients from heat and add to dry ingredients. Combine until the flour has completely disappeared. 🙈

    Next, grease an 8x8 baking pan, add in the batter, and smooth it out evenly. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the bread is firm. Top with your favorite jam or a smear of Dollop Lama™.
